A native of California, Leah D’Ambrosio has worked for over 20 years as an assistant in the legal world. Her desire to help animals in need led her to study Reiki for Animals under Reiki Master and author, Kathleen Prasad.  She earned her Reiki Teacher credential in 2008 and in May of 2008, co-founded with Kathleen the Shelter Animal Reiki Association (SARA), a California nonprofit whose goal is to bring Reiki into shelters and sanctuaries worldwide.  Leah has taught Animal Reiki to the staff and volunteers at The Homeless Cat Network, The Humane Society Silicon Valley and the Pregnant Mare Rescue. She devotes her spare time to volunteering at the Humane Society Silicon Valley. Leah currently lives in Sunnyvale, California with her husband Jeremy, son Cody and Shar Pei Bruce Lee.
